CEREMONY
YOUR CEREMONY
Yarnton Manor is the perfect location to be married either in the 17th Century Manor, the beautifully landscaped gardens or the historic St Bartholomew’s Church, the choice is yours.
CHURCH
The beautiful 12th Century St Bartholomew’s Church is located just 20 yards from the Manor, along our avenue of lime trees. The Church can accommodate 80 -100 people and has a special atmosphere when it is filled with guests and flowers. It is possible with permission, to be married in the Church if you are from outside of the parish. It is also possible to arrange a religious blessing in the Church following a legal ceremony elsewhere.
CELEBRATORY CEREMONY
Even though Yarnton Manor does not currently have a license to hold civil ceremonies, we want to ensure couples have the wedding day they’ve dreamt of, with a celebratory ceremony held at the venue, either inside (rooms seating 10 to 80 guests) or outside in our beautiful gardens (seating up to 350 guests). This ceremony is officiated by an independent celebrant, or by a celebrant from the Oxfordshire County Council. The legal registration of the marriage has to be completed by a registrar at a register office on a separate occasion in a short and simple ‘ceremony’.
