WEDDING RECEPTION
DRINKS RECEPTION
Greet your guests with a refreshing glass of fizz surrounded by the beauty of the Yarnton Manor Estate.
FRONT LAWN
The Front Lawn is the perfect arrival lawn for your guests. With the sounds of live music in the background, we welcome your guests up the lime tree avenue onto the front lawn, awaiting your arrival. Once you arrive, guests line the pathway forming a floral confetti tunnel all the way to the entrance of the Manor. You can then choose to continue your drinks reception on the front lawn, move through the stone archway into one of the other gardens or into the Manor.
OLD TENNIS LAWN
The Old Tennis Lawn is located at the side of the Manor and flows beautifully from the Front Lawn, round the side of the Manor. The lawn is larger than the Front Lawn and can comfortably host a drinks reception for up to 200 people with garden games and live music. There is a small raised patio, perfect for speeches or live music.
The lawn has a stone wall on two side, with floral borders planted to reflect the season.
BACK LAWN
The Back Lawn is the largest of all our lawns, giving you and your guests plenty of space to relax whilst enjoying the surroundings. The floral borders on three sides are traditionally planted with seasonal colour, with a stone archway leading to the terrace level and wildflower walkway beyond.
WEDDING BREAKFAST
There are many options for your wedding breakfast at Yarnton Manor, whether you’re looking for a sit down meal or more relaxed informal dining.
LONG GALLERY
The Long Gallery, on the 1st floor, is the largest room in the Manor, seating up to 80 guests on long banqueting tables. The rooms has many original features, including the 17th Century wooden panelling, stone carved fireplace, hidden doors and even a secret tunnel.
For a wedding breakfast we recommend two long rows of banqueting tables or 8 of our beautiful wooden carved tables, each seating up to 10 people.
BACK LAWN
The Back Lawn is the perfect spot for a marquee wedding reception for up to 300 people. If having a clear span marquee, we recommend clear sides and gable end so that you and your guests can enjoy views of the garden and back of the Manor.
The lawn is accessed from either the back door of the Manor house, or round the side of the Manor, past the Old Tennis Lawn and Sunken Garden.
EVENING RECEPTION
For your evening reception we recommend using the ground floor rooms for a house party, transforming the rooms into a bar, dance floor and lounge.
